Celebrations were obvious as the class of 2020 at Athlone Community College achieved spectacurarly with several obtaining H1 in every subject. Those included Adam Cummins,Michael Flynn and Rebecca Campion while 40% achieved over 500 points including Eve Conway and Wiktoria Sewerniak both off to Trinity to study English and Pharmacy. Well done indeed.

Our school will contest the All Ireland final in the Soroptimist Public Speaking competition (Eve Conway) the Junior Gael LInn Debatin competition (Maeve Costello,Molly Lennon and Aoife ní Leocháin) and the Senior Gael LInn debating competition (Ryan Raftery,Emily Sheehan, Emma Flannery) at the end of March. Historic.
These are now postponed due to Covid 19 epidemic.
The Soroptimist final will take place on October 4th in Dungarvan. Good Luck Eve!
