I started basketball when I was ten. I started playing basketball when I got a basketball hoop at my house when I was younger and I used to play at my house a lot. My biggest accomplishment is when I scored 34 points and was captain when I played against Wales. Before I made the midlands team when I was U14. When I was on the midlands team we played Dublin where I was scouted by the coach for the Irish team. I was invited to a trial in Galway and then I was picked for a team of 36 players.

Ex Student Testimony

My name is James Dempsey and I was a member of the school pitch and putt team. I started playing pitch and putt about 4 years ago. I joined the school team which was started up by Mr Revins. In our first year we entered the Leinster schools competition where we advanced to play in the All Ireland competition. This was a great experience for myself and the rest of the team.

Mr Revins encouraged us to attend trials for the Westmeath juvenile team. Jed Moylette and myself went on to play for Westmeath and we competed in the Leinster inter county competition where we finished second and went on to play in the All Ireland competition which was a great experience.

I made a lot of good friends playing the game and really enjoyed playing pitch and putt.
