Students from Athlone Community College participate in Scifest in AIT.

48 students from Athlone Community College participated in Scifest in AIT on Friday 23rd April. An excellent day was had by all with exhibitors from all around the Midlands region.

Congratulations to all students especially prize-winners including Rebecca Mahoney who showed the effects of disinfectants on micro-organisms, Robin Keane and Tara Conlon who investigated Nitrate levels in Lough Ree, Louise Finneran who showed the effects of hydroponics of cress seeds.
