A Well-Ordered Environment
A college of our size can be daunting and exciting at the same time. There are always so many projects to be involved with, from sculpting and painting in the Art Room to carving and drilling in the Woodwork Room.
There are so many opportunities to play sport, act on stage, enter your
first debate and begin to learn a whole new array of subjects from foreign
languages to film studies. Of course you will also continue to learn even
more about the subject you are already used to. For all this to happen,
everyone understands the need for fair and decent rules. Within the college
students are expected at all times to behave with courtesy and respect
for one another. A copy of our Rules and Routines are on display in every
classroom.
This is what it say:-
1. Work quietly because noise is unfair to students who
wish to learn (Listen attentively without disruption, request permission
to speak).
2. Respect Each Other because we all deserve politeness
(no bullying, name calling, carrying stories or improper language).
3. Enter and Exit Orderly because it is dignified and
prevents injury (line up quitely, no pushing, be seated as indicated).
4. Have Your Own Class Requirements because it is prevents
time wasting (text books, copies and equipment available for each class,
journal on the desk).
5. Complete All Homework On Time because it confirms
our knowledge of the subject (enter homework in the journal and have it
signed).
