DEBATING & PUBLIC SPEAKING

We are the premier school in the country in debating, having won 3 All-Ireland Concern Debating titles, Public Speaking All-Ireland titles, Soroptimist titles, Gael Linn national titles, NUIG Debating titles and various other Debating and Public Speaking titles. All first year students have an opportunity to participate in Debating and Public Speaking and represent the school in English, Irish, French, German and Spanish. To enrich their educational experience, students are encouraged to engage in pursuits that stretch the mind.
